    The Oklahoman

In the  "Three Sheets: Season Two” DVD, Lamprey quaffs snake blood in Taipei, sake bombs in Japan and a coconut-based wine from the Philippines called Lambanog that carries a 162-proof kick.

"I think I was acquiring an undergraduate degree in alcohol appreciation without even knowing it in college," Zane says.

Zane Lamprey is the kind of the person that people are just drawn to, the sort of guy you sit down with to knock back a few. And that suits Zane just fine.

"I'm sort of a nerd, so I really am interested in the facts that are being thrown around on the show, and if they get too technical, I also have ADD, so I lose attention very easily,” he says. "And I'm also very social, and I'm sort of easy to get along with. There's no pretension. It's just me having a drink with someone and getting to know them, and it's me being myself, being a goofball, being natural, and I think that's why the show has worked so well.”
