THREE SHEETS TO AIR EVERY WEEK NIGHT ON FLN!

It’s official!  The Fine Living Network has Saved Three Sheets and will begin airing new, never-before-seen episodes on July 20, 2009.  The new episodes will air every Monday night at 10pm EST/PST, followed by previously aired episodes the rest of the week at 10pm.

“We are happy to add the hilarious and knowledgeable Zane Lamprey to our talent roster,” said FLN General Manager Chad Youngblood. "And we are particularly pleased to be the new home of the cult favorite, ‘Three Sheets,’ which will add nicely to our growing line-up of cocktail shows.”

Three Sheets is premiering with New Zealand, followed by Tanzania, Lithuania, St. Martin and Cape Town.  Other episodes in season four include Hawaii, Iceland, Poland, Barbados, Panama, Namibia, Tuscany, Barbados, Tahiti, New Castle, Hamburg, Lesvos, and Amsterdam.  Along with a bevy of new characters, you’ll see old favorites like Pleepleus, Jim-the-Cop (Iceland) and Steve McKenna (Amsterdam).

    COLOR BAR MONDAY

On December 1, 2008, MOJO went off the air, and along with it, Three Sheets.  For most viewers there was no warning.  They just turned on their TVs to find color bars.  At that time, the Three Sheets crew and I were winding down shooting season four.  And, since we were almost done filming, we were told to finish off our obligations to deliver 18 episodes.

No one was really concerned with "if" Three Sheets was going to get picked up by a new network, but how were we going to choose from the myriad of networks that would want to add such a successful show to their roster.  But, for whatever baffling reason, no one was stepping up.  Three Sheets was in danger of ending up on the web, and I was in danger of forever being known as “the guy who used to host that drinking show”.

So, in late December, I held a series of SAVE THREE SHEETS rallies (which doubled as pub crawls) in Los Angeles and Manhattan to bring attention to the show.  Nearly 1,000 people showed up at the rallies, while others emailed the networks and talked about it on radio shows, blogs, and at water coolers everywhere.  Everyone’s efforts prevailed, and it’s no secret that the credit goes to the fans for saving the show.

While FLN had shown interest at the beginning of the year, the negotiations seemed to have dragged on forever.  We were sure that the deal would be done by Zane Patrick's Day (my party in NYC), but it was not.  Steve McKenna, bless his drunken little heart, leaked the news at the event anyway.  We were then positive that everything would be wrapped up in time for Zano De Mayo, but that didn't happen either.  Steve, again, leaked the news.

Now, however, we are very happy to announce that the FLN will be using Zanedependence Day in Chicago as the official launch and premiere party for the new season of Three Sheets.  They are even letting us show and uncensored version of ‘Three Sheets: Amsterdam’ that will never make it to the air.  There’s a red carpet, plenty of press, video crews, Steve McKenna, Jim-the-Cop, and of course, open bar.

Now... What are we gonna do about season five???

    Cheers and THANK YOU!

    Zane
