A lot of beer.

 

It’s official!  Three Sheets is now on Travel Channel!  To say “thank you”, and to encourage them to pick up a 5th season, we (a shitload of fans and myself) have bought them a bunch of Maui Brewing Co. beer… a shitload, to be exact.

In all, we bought 3,743 beers and raised over $2,000 for The Art of Elysium, a children's charity. The Art of Elysium works with children battling serious medical conditions. If you were unable to participate in this "beer drive", you can still donate to the Art of Elysium.  All money collected from here on (through my web site) will be donated entirely to the charity.  If you are unable to give money, maybe you can donate some of your time.  There are wonderful charities, and children in need of mentors, friends and good listeners everywhere...

I’m still on the road shooting my new series DRINKING MADE EASY and doing stand-up comedy (plus a little music, riffing, and drinking) on stage.  I’m writing this from outside the venue in Seattle, where we’re playing for a sold out crowd tonight.  Tomorrow is Portland, then we’re on the home-stretch heading for San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Diego.  DRINKING MADE EASY will be on HDNet in the fall.  I’m very happy to be drinking on my home soil for a change.

If given the opportunity, I’d love to do another season of Three Sheets.  Traveling the world and drinking—I’d be up for SEVERAL more seasons.  But I’m also having a blast shooting episodes around the US.  In a perfect (albeit drunken) world, I’d be doing both... I'll drink to that.  And now, with beer you've bought for them, so will Travel Channel.
